The Indians rotation was not terrible at all. Bud Black (12-11, 3.36 ERA), John Farrell (9-14, 3.63 ERA), Candiotti (13-10, 3.10 ERA) and Swindell (13+6, 3.37 ERA) were all solid with ERA+ over 100.

Doug Jones had a 2.34 ERA, 7-10 record and 32 saves. Jesse Orosco was also solid in 78 IP (2.08 ERA, 192 ERA+).

Jose Carter had 35 HR. But he also had a .292 OBP.

Brook Jacoby and Jerry Browne led the team with a 114 OPS+

At what was first sad new, Joe Carter was traded to the Padres. But the Indians would get Carlos Baerga, Sandy Alomar, Jr and Chris James in the trade.

The 1989 Topps Baseball set consists of 792 cards. One of my favorite looking sets from the 80's. It was produced in the junk wax era, so overall the set has almost no value.
