Wahoo Cardboard
1955 Topps Cleveland Indians
10 Cards, one Series. This set is Topps smallest issue, and first use of horizontal cards. Many baseball starts were not included since they were under contract with Bowman.
Wax Pack - 5 cents per 9 card pack (24 packs per box)
The AL Champs in 1954, the Indians would finish 2nd to the Yankees once again (the 4th time in the last five seasons). The team was solid, with 6 of 8 position players with an OPS+ of more than a 100 and all four starters with ERA+ of at least 100. The team was good, just unforunate to be playing in the same league as the New York Yankee juggernaut.
